From mission to market.

Before establishing his consulting practice, Dan held senior business-development and growth roles across the defense, intelligence and geospatial sectors. He worked with technical, capture, pricing and delivery teams to shape opportunities, enter new markets and develop competitive responses to complex customer requirements.

Earlier, he served more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in Military Intelligence. His assignments included command, geospatial-intelligence operations and national-level interagency decision support. That experience informs his approach to uncertainty, organizational alignment and accountable execution.

Selected experience

Dan’s prior work includes leading a contractor’s entry into a new federal market and helping secure its first prime position there, followed by task-order wins. He has also led integrated technical, management and pricing responses, coordinating specialists and partners around a coherent offer.

Advice that carries through.

Dan’s consulting and executive experience spans opportunity qualification, customer and market analysis, competitive positioning, teaming, proposal integration and fractional growth leadership. His work has included coordinating technical and management narratives, personnel evidence, labor assumptions, pricing inputs and review schedules so the response reads as one coherent offer.

His hands-on support includes proposal management, volume leadership, writing, compliance coordination and reviews, with the scope agreed for each engagement.

He brings particular attention to the connections between strategy and execution: who owns the decision, what evidence supports it, which partners contribute, what the commercial assumptions mean and how the team will deliver. In collaborative pursuits, technical specialists, scientific teams and delivery partners retain credit for their contributions.
